The RM1080 is a 36-foot yacht to satisfy every sailing desire. True to RM’s commitment, the new RM 1080 is a direct evolution of ocean racing, making it easy to handle and enabling it to reach high average speeds for greater cruising autonomy. Featuring oversized fittings, a powerful Lombard hull and a high-performance rig, it is available here in a twin-keel version for even more possibilities.
As soon as you enter the RM 1080, you’re surprised by the space: a wide companionway with just three steps, omnipresent light and 180° visibility. The RM’s soft, dry, condensation-free atmosphere and extensive use of wood create a unique sense of well-being.
A true ocean cruiser, this RM 1080 features a real chart table, a draining luggage compartment for bad weather, a U-shaped galley and a vast, luminous saloon. The usual technical room will also facilitate maintenance and access to systems. Spacious cabins also benefit from the full width of this powerful hull.
The RM 1080 offers a protected cockpit, designed for long-distance cruising, which excels as a helm and maneuvering station under the protection of an enveloping sprayhood and secure coamings. It can also be transformed into a beach for sunbathing and lounging. Going fast, far and dry has never been easier. The ergonomics of the helm stations are not to be outdone, with two eccentric wheelbars and perfectly integrated seats.
A worthy heir to the modern ocean-racing yachts, the new RM 1080 is an exceptional boat, elegant and stylish, ideal for an Atlantic crossing or a summer cruise.
